    Shannon Molloy is an award-winning journalist with almost 20 years' experience working in some of the country's biggest newsrooms. He has covered everything from breaking news and human interest to finance and entertainment. For almost four years, he was a feature writer for News Corp Australia, penning profiles on celebrities such as Drew Barrymore, Miranda Kerr, Elle Macpherson, Nigella Lawson, Joel Edgerton, Ron Howard and Jennifer Hawkins. He is a regular media commentator on television and radio and has twice been recognised as one of the country's most influential LGBTIQ voices.  He is a best-selling and critically acclaimed author, with his debut memoir Fourteen long-listed for an ABIA Award and named one of Booktopia's Best of 2020 titles. In 2021, Fourteen was adapted into a sell-out stage production for Brisbane Festival and is now touring across the country. It is also being adapted for the screen. His second book, You Made Me This Way, has been described as a "genre-defying feat of storytelling". He's a senior reporter for the country's most-visited news website, news.com.au. Shannon also ghostwrites books for notable Australians. He lives in Sydney with his husband Rob, their daughter Ava, Bard the dog, and Ella the cat.
